Bistro Menu Package

Some meetings and events call for simplicity, convenience, and an expedited planning process. For those occasions, our Bistro Menu Package is the perfect solution.

If you’re planning a small weekday meeting for 50 people or less, and don’t need the detailed menus of a professional caterer, we welcome you to bring in prepared, catered food from your favorite local restaurant, such as Panera Bread, Highland Park Market, The Spicy Green Bean, and similar establishments.  Such restaurants often include delivery & setup in their catering packages without the need for kitchen access or clunky equipment, thus allowing your guests to enjoy the beautiful ambiance of our elegant venue with the convenience of quick and simplified food and beverages.

How the Bistro Package Works

  • Available only for meetings & events held Monday – Friday between 7:00 am – 4:00 (Excluding Holidays***)
  • All food must be prepared and ready for consumption. Kitchen access prohibited.
  • Alcohol is NOT permitted
  • Insurance Requirements – A certificate of commercial general liability insurance, listing the Town of Glastonbury as an additional insured, is required for all reservations. If your group does not have insurance, it can be purchased through the Town’s provider for a fee of roughly $150.

Rates: Monday – Friday (7:00 am – 4:00 pm)

  • 4 hours: $800
  • 5 hours: $950
  • 6 hours: $1,100
  • Extra hour (up until 4:00 pm): $150/hour

Package includes:

  • An on-site building supervisor
  • Tables and chairs setup in desired floor plan and removed post-event
  • 1 hour of setup time for your team to set up rental items, presentation materials, table decor, etc.
  • 30 minutes for breakdown, cleanup, and retrieval of event props/materials

NOT included:

  • Kitchen use and/or access
  • Linens, tableware, cutlery. Basic tableware and cutlery are often provided by the catering restaurant. Please be sure to confirm when placing your catering order. Any linens or additional rental items can be coordinated as needed through our rental partners.
  • Service staff for food service or table setting & cleanup.
